Valentina Basoli
Valentina Basoli is a Senior Research Scientist at the Swiss Medical Additive Manufacturing Group at the University of Basel. Her research focuses on biofabrication, regenerative medicine, and biosensors, particularly in MIRACLE II smart implants. She holds a Master’s in Applied and Experimental Biology from the University of Sassari and completed her Ph.D. on cellular responses to physical stimuli. Valentina’s postdoctoral work at the AO Research Institute Davos advanced studies on stem cell biology and nanomaterials for drug delivery. She has also contributed to iCEMS University of Kyoto as a JSPS Fellow. She has secured funding from Innosuisse, SNSF Spark, and EU Pathfinder Open, and is a member of the COST Action CA21110 management committee for Osteoarthritis research.
