Dr. Maurizio Gullo is a biofabrication expert and project manager at FHNW’s Institute for Medical Engineering and Medical Informatics. He leads research in 3D bioprinting and regenerative biomaterials, focusing on cardiac and neural tissue engineering. His interdisciplinary work includes origami-inspired scaffolds and nanocomposite bioinks, contributing to projects like the KOKORO artificial heart model. With a PhD in nanotechnology, Dr. Gullo bridges microfabrication and tissue engineering to advance translational biomedical solutions.
