Myriam Rodriguez
Myriam Rodriguez is a Biomedical Clinical Engineer with a multidisciplinary background in health technology and medical innovation. She holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence for Health from the Universidad de Alcalá (UAH), complemented by earlier studies in Industrial Design Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). She has pursued advanced training in additive manufacturing, medical image processing, organic medical CAD, and custom-made device regulation. Currently, she is part of the Advanced Planning and 3D Manufacturing Unit (UPAM3D) at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, where she focuses on clinical innovation and point-of-care manufacturing of personalized medical solutions. Myriam is also a researcher at the Gregorio Marañón Health Research Institute (IiSGM), contributes to national working groups under the ISCIII Platform on Biomodels and Biobanks, and serves on the Medical Engineering, Innovation and Digital Transformation Committee of the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Madrid (COIIM).
