Derek Brandt
Derek Brandt is a Swiss entrepreneur and executive with a strong track record in life sciences and technology leadership. He has founded and scaled a clinical research organization and led the medtech company Sensile Medical through its acquisition by Gerresheimer as one of the largest medtech exits in 2018. Currently CEO of Diabetes Center Berne, he also serves as General Partner of the Swiss Diabetes Venture Fund, and chairman of various boards supporting innovation-driven startups. Additionally, he is member of the board of trustees of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW).
