Ralf Schumacher
Ralf Schumacher has been researching 3D printing since 1998 and focused on medical applications from an early stage. In 2013, he founded a start-up for the planning and production of patient-adapted bone plates, which launched its first products on the market in 2015. Since then, he has been involved in other start-ups in the field of digital modeling and manufacturing. In 2017, he initiated the “Symposium on 3D Printing in Life Sciences”, where he co-chairs the industry session and moderates the 3D Printing Award pitching competition.”
