Andreas Thor
Andreas Thor is Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Uppsala University and Consultant Surgeon at Uppsala University Hospital. His research centers on virtual surgical planning, reconstruction, additive‑manufactured craniofacial patient specific implants and novel biomaterials. As a previous member of the AOCMF Research & Development Commission, he has published on 3D‑printed mandibular reconstruction, prosthodontically driven jaw reconstruction and barriers to additive manufacturing in Swedish maxillofacial care. He also mentors surgical trainees and fosters industry‑academic collaborations.
