Andreas Schweizer

Andreas Schweizer has been Chief of Hand Surgery at Balgrist University Hospital since 2020. After studying medicine at the University of Zurich, he specialized in hand and orthopedic surgery. His expertise includes wrist surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and treating sports climbing injuries. Schweizer is also an expert in 3D-assisted surgical planning. His academic career includes a habilitation at the University of Zurich. Before his current role, he served as Senior Consultant and Lead Physician at Balgrist.
